I needed it quick!

Customers care about different things, I cared about delivery date, not car handling, and not price too much. Our shipment was last minute. If the car didn't arrive on time, our vacation would have been really messed up. In spite of the long odds and general skepticism early on, things worked out amazingly well!!

Here are some interesting facts I learned through the process:
- Carriers cannot guarantee a specific shipping date, by law, or so I'm told.
- You may be dealing with brokers who simply post your car on a board. The free market might set who actually takes your car. The broker's not actually handling your vehicle.
- There are terminals across the country that load and unload vehicles, like a railroad switchyard. Your car might hop from one to the next.
- There are backlogs during high volume times in certain regions of the country, where your car may not leave the area for sometime, even though it was picked up right away. It just sits.
- If your car arrives late, though you may have paid an expedite fee, the loss to carrier may be just the expedite fee and that slips away over a few days.

How can you become an informed customer? Call a couple of carriers/brokers, and call their customer service. Ask them questions about what you are concerned about see how they respond. So when the sh*t hits the fan you know how it's going to go down.

I received whiteglove treatment because I was skeptical, I try to be a savvy customer, and Dina rose to my challenges. In the end, I got what I wanted (my tight schedule demanded it) and more, which was way beyond what most broker/carriers offered.

Some carrriers said my timeframe was ridiculous, but persistence paid off.

I got:
-delivery on very tight schedule
-competitive rate
-driver contact info, WOW!
-personal guarantee of delivery timeframe(law be damned)
-all in writing.

Dina and I built up a good rapport and high level of trust. She's fast moving and impressive. I like that. Tell her Gino sent you and she might just give you that same treatment.

Why do I keep mentioning her? She owns the business and she handles the customers too, and that's unusual I think.

I absolutely positively have no financial interest in her company. This is an honest review.
