Time estimates were completely off

The first woman I spoke with said that I should give a 7 day window in order to have my car picked up before I left town. This way, even if it took all 7 days for them to come get the car, they would still be able to pick it up before I left the state. So, I told them they could pick it up as early as June 8th. That gave them 8 days (just in case I added one day extra to her estimate) and they apparently needed all of them. I was leaving the state on the 16th. The truck driver calls to say he will pick the car up on the 16th. The previous 8 days were apparently not enough time. I had a problem with this, because I had given plenty of time and yet they were still trying to pick it up after I was going to be gone. Finally he was able to come on the 15th. I was about to go to my graduation ceremony when the driver wanted to pick up the car, and he said he did not have much time to wait. Yet, due to my apparently stressed-out tone, he was going to give me as much time as possible. If the car had been picked up in the 7 days I alloted (like I was told) this would not have been an issue at all. Then the driver gave an estimated time of delivery on June 18th or 19th. Yet, this also was a false hope. I did not receive the car until June 24th. I understand that estimates can be off, but it should not have taken more than the 7 days I alloted to pick it up. I am disappointed unfortunately and would not use Angels Moving Autos again.

In response to Ms. Bedell's review, we would like to point out that she received her car in a timely manner and in excellent condition. I reviewed Ms. Bedell's file and it shows she did sign and fax back a copy of her shipping contract. That contract states that all our dates are approximate dates because there are many things that can speed up or slow down a carriers route. Our office kept her informed of the delay, she also had the option to switch to another carrier. A 0 star review is her opinion, yet probably not a fair one considering how well the transport did go.
