Internet purchase of car sight unseen, first car transport. After reading reviews on this website, getting 5-6 quotes, some of which were less expensive, I decided to use Angel's because they answered their phone everytime I called. With the others, I got voicemail. I felt better knowing I could talk to someone when I wanted to and not have to wait on a return call.

WOW! They picked the car up as scheduled the day after I issued the order, as agreed. Delivery was one day late, but since I am familiar with the trucking industry, that is acceptable to me. Plus both Angel's and the driver communicated with me all the way through. But the extraodinary part for me was... the car was damaged when loading due to brake failure. The chain caught the valance and cut it up. Roman, the driver, immediately pointed it out to me when he arrived and said he would take care of it. Pretty stand up considering he could have said it was the shippers fault due to faulty breaks.

But it gets better... I expected to have to deal with filing a claim and all the work that usually involves. Imagine my suprise, when, after unloading the car and helping me PUSH it into my driveway, Roman walks to his tractor and pulls out a brand new valance and hands it to me. He stopped along the way and bought a brand new valace and said here is the part to replace the damaged one. It was even prepainted inthe correct color!!!!

The whole process of buying a classic car sight unseen and then having to deal with transporting it was, to say the least, a HUGE gamble. I also have very high expectations, some say unreasonably high in today's world, but i am very excited to say that customer service is still alive an well at Angel's and the drivers they hire.
