June was the person who helped me . I am wriiting this review because I just want to give anyone considering fair warning. first off i was warned by several other companies NOT to go with any company that required you to pay a deposit. I did not listen. Andrew auto transporting almost instantly came with the lowest price. so of course after looking them up on this web site and seeing they had darn near 5 stars, and the quote they gave me was so much lower than any other companies i jumped on the offer and gladly paid the deposit, becasue i was thinking "why not" after all they say it comes out of the price of the transport and the quote they gave me was so low? to make a long story short This company lowballs all other companies Knowing that the low price they give you is not going to be the price you pay. that deposit you pay to secure a spot on the "board", you can kiss that goodbye, every offer they send you will say plain and clear the price does not include the deposit. so basically the deposit you pay at the beginning is basically a "fee" for going with Andrew Auto transport", where as there are plenty of good transport companies that dont charge you a fee and calll it a deposit. I was led to believe that i was going to get this great low price for transporting my cars after i pay a small deposit which will go on the price of the job (not) and then still substantially low any one of the other companies that bid for the job. one of my mistakes was just looking at the amount of stars this company had and not actually reading the reviews that was # 1, #2 was not listening to the advise that i recieved from other compnies and the internet such as not putting a down payment or paying a deposit. all and all I would not say That this company is the worst, or even out and out right crookes. what I will say is they purposely give you a qoute that they know is lower than any one else to get your business knowing that thats not the price you are actually going to pay. and they ask you for a deposit that they tell you is going to be put on the quoted price but they know it really isnt going to go twords the quoted price. its just 175.00 dollars gone in the wind. then they start sending you quotes higher than what they first offered you telling you in thier professional opinion you "really" should take the offer because its more than fair considering the current market, like they didnt know the current market the previous day when they gave you the quote that they knew you would not recieve. again i have to say in all fairness they are not out and out right crooks that I know of at least in my short dealings with them, but dont be fooled by their low quote because in the end you are going to pay just as much as the average quote you recieved from the other 20 transport companies who contacted you. their low quote is a tacktic to get you to hire them and at least be out of 175.00 dollars and/ or pay just as much as you would to any other company. at least all the other companies are upfront about it. lesson learned I should listen when more than one or two peole give me the same advise esspecially when it doesnt cost a thing. and if something sounds to good to be true it is. I would say 3 stars bt its still fresh and i am a little put off at the trickery.
