Brandon delivered my non-running 1928 Pontiac during a good 'ol Texas downpour and never once complained! He even made light of the situation and we really had a good time unloading and moving my car!! We enjoyed talking and making the best of a nasty weather situation. He called the afternoon before delivery and got very specific directions to my place. We decided it would be easier for me to meet him in the morning and for him to follow me home. Just as Brandon said, he was waiting there at 8:00 am!!!!! He followed me to my unload spot and just as we began to unload the non-running (and unknown to me - two flat rear tires) old Pontiac the sky let loose with 2-3 inches of rain with plenty of lightening and thunder!!! He was very helpful in letting me understand the whole transport/trucking business and he kept me interested in other cars that he had hauled and the stories that go along with them. We had the chance to talk about family and how much we enjoyed our respective kids/wives/lives, etc. Too soon, he needed to get on the road to deliver someone else's car and had to leave. All in all, it was a very good experience and made me realize how difficult transporting an unknown vehicle can be! It also made me realize how unable I would have been to do the same for anywhere near what it cost me to have Brandon from Elite Transport in Weatherford, OK do it! The ladies at America's Choice Auto Movers were very proactive in finding someone to transport my old car. One email and the wheels were rolling! After just a few emails and a few phone calls they had brokered my vehicle from California to Texas for a very reasonable fee. They called me to let me know when Brandon would be by the pick-up spot in Modesto, CA and told me that the driver would be in touch. Sure enough the driver (Brandon) called the day before arrival to arrange everything in Texas! I can't compliment the whole process enough and hope all you old (and new) car buffs out there are as lucky as me to have such a good experience!
