First of all, I have no love for moving companies. I had never shipped a car before and I was very apprehensive. Reading the reviews only made the anxiety worse, so I kept on searching mostly finding mixed reviews. I checked out American Dream Transport, viewed their website and gave a call to ask some questions. Their price was good, actually very fair with total cost being exactly what it was, no extra charges. BUT MORE THAN THAT, Whenever I called or left a message to ask questions, Bonnie called back and had no problem with explaining the process and how eveything worked with arranging pick-up, preparing the car, payment method and delivery of the car. Unbelievably for me, the transport company that picked up my car happened to be a private carrier in the next town. Bonnie arranged the pick up, which happened to be a day before the first date of the 7 day pick-up window in the evening, he called, came and loaded the car, drove overnight from New Jersey and delivered it by noon in centrral North Carolina. I realize this is not the typical schedule results, but the whole experience was very easy. I have to say I took a chance with a small company thinking it might be better, and it truly was. I got good straightforward honest conversation and information and no pressure. I highly recommend them
and would use them again. If you have any doubts about my review- call them yourself, you'll see. Also, I hate that many companies offer "compensation money" for 5 star reviews- they didn't do any such thing. Only asked for me to post a review if I was happy.
