In October of 2013 I needed to move a family car, a 2007 Hyundai Elantra, from Long Island New York to Daphne Alabama. I started with an online search one evening requesting multiple price quotes. By the next morning I already had an email response from William Blair with American Auto Transport with a quote. Mr. Blair called me the next day to follow-up on the quote, answer any questions, and to set the whole process in motion. Their price of $850 was in the middle of the pack of the responses. Where with other companies I did not know when a pick-up could be arranged, American Auto Transport got back to me in 5 business days with a set pick-up date. No change in price or telling me no carrier would pick up the ticket unless we increased the fee. They had a carrier set to pick-up my vehicle exactly when we discussed. The pick-up date was arranged for 4 days later. The office set up all the documents and details by phone and email. No needing to mail or fax papers back and forth. The paperwork was minimal. At the time of pick-up, the driver was polite, thoroughly inspected my vehicle before loading, and updated us as he drove to the delivery location. He even arrived earlier than promised. The delivery process was quite painless. The driver called us when he got close, got directions, and dropped off the car right in front of my house. We went over the car again before he left ensuring no damage had been done. The car was as it was at pick-up. Overall, I had a great experience with American Auto Transport.
