Both Amerifreight and the hauler, North East Auto Haul, exceeded my expectations. I was given the impression it might take a few days before my vehicle was consigned, but it was ready to be consigned the second I signed the hauling contract, and was picked up three days later. The driver was courteous and friendly and kept us aware of his timing, so there were not any surprises. He called a few days before reaching the destination on Bainbridge Island, told me when he would get here, and had no problem with driving all the way onto the island, which is a bit out of the way.
Initially I was a little concerned that Amerifreight's quote, which was $150 less than the top-rated competition, meant that I was not going to be treated well or surprised at the delivery with extra charges or delays. And I should say that it was that competition that really bad-mouthed anyone that had a lower price then theirs, implying that it was impossible since their rates were rock-botom. Well, apparently not, and good for me, I went with Amerifreight.
Bottom line: At no point was I disappointed with either Amerifreight or the hauler and felt I got a good deal for the money I paid. Happy customer here!
