This was not the cheapest quote that I received but also not the most expensive. I selected AmeriFreight after spending quite a bit of time on the phone with several other brokers. I felt their explanation of the process was the most thorough and they answered my questions in a way that didn't leave me feeling "talked down" to.
My car was picked up much earlier than anticipated (5 days) and arrived faster than planned. I went ahead and sent the vehicle because it was unclear when my next opportunity would be and I couldn't afford for it to arrive late. I was able to get a rental but it added an unexpected $200 into my budget. I'm very satisfied with the service and the extra cost for the rental car was worth the peace of mind knowing my car was arriving in plenty of time.
The driver was very courteous and worked quickly to get the car loaded. He came early enough that I was able to make it to work on time, which was greatly appreciated. The biggest trouble I had was getting the money to pay him across the country before he arrived with the car.
My only real complaint is the military discount I was quoted over the phone was not reflected on the final bill. However, if I ever need to send another vehicle anywhere, I will call again!
