Amerifreight did okay at shipping my car. They were very helpful in explaining the process to me, since I had never shipped a car before. The only issue with their customer service was that they were sometimes a little hard to get ahold of - sometimes they would call you back within a few minutes of leaving a message and sometimes it took a few hours and a few tries. Call, don't use email, I never once got a response to an email I sent.

I think they may have had some communication issues with the carrier, since when the carrier picked up the car they seemed to be completely ignorant of my desired delivery date and wanted to deliver a full five days before I'd even be in town. Luckily I had a friend who could pick the car up for me. This could have been entirely the fault of the carrier but I'm not sure.

If I had to ship again I probably would use Amerifreight, but I will do my best to not ever have to ship a car again. The whole process is expensive and worrisome. Next time I'll just drive it myself.

We do apologize for the lack of communication with the driver. Every customer is provided the carrier's name and number to assist with pickup and delivery.
