Overall the setup went very smooth. After placing the order the vehicle was picked up within 24hrs (First Class rate). In the first 3 days the vehicle traveled from West Coast to Atlanta almost non-stop. After that the car was sitting in Atlanta, a mere 2hrs from its final destination, for 10 days. After a week I had to make calls every day to find out why the car could not be delivered. The vehicle was not delivered at the promised delivery date. One day late it finally arrived very dirty late at night, so there was no way to inspect the car for possible damage. The First Class rate was supposed to include a car wash. Since the delivery date could not be held, the price dropped by $300. Would I recommend the extra money for the FC-rate: absolutely not. Would I consider Amerifreight again: maybe. Be aware that Amerifreight is a broker. I ended up having the car shipped by DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers), a company with only so-so rating according to several webpages.
