I chose Amerifreight because of their experience shipping cars for the military, I expected them to be straightforward and honest and that is exactly what I got. I was very happy with the service and would use it again.

I did not need the car by any particular date so I went with the cheap economy option - $535. I also figured that since I was shipping between two major cities (Seattle and Denver), I wouldn't have trouble getting someone to take the shipment, which was correct. I did not purchase the extra insurance because my auto deductible is only $250 anyway. And my car is 5 years old and has been parked on the street so it's already fairly scratched up.

I place my order online, and then left my car with a friend who works from home so would be available whenever it was ready to be picked up. I think we said the first available date was Saturday, I'm not even sure if they work on the weekend. The car was picked up Monday. It turned out that they had never received my signed contract (which was my fault, when I looked at the fax confirmation I realized it hadn't gone through). So they called me on Monday when they had a freight person accept the shipment, and I had to refax the contract to them. Kind of a pain but again my own fault, and they were very responsive in getting in touch with me to get the contract, the guy called me about 3 times within an hour to keep me posted and follow up with me.

Overall I would definitely recommend Amerifreight to a friend, I found them to be responsive, honest and helpful.
