Overall a good experience. Amerifreight is a broker who subcontracts shipping. Held shy of five stars due to the price quote. I was quoted on the site $522. But when contacted by a rep that a shipper was available, the price was now $746. What about the quote? Turns out that's just an "estimate". The actual price comes when the subcontractor tells Amerifreight how much they will transport the vehicle for. My belief is the word "quote" should be replaced with "estimate". (Perhaps there's some text that explains that somewhere and I missed it). Just something to be aware of. I ended up passing on the $746 shipper and received another for $596 which I opted for.. Amerifreight is great with communication and pricing transparency and provides multiple quotes from transporters. Would Use them again now that I am aware of how the "quote" actually works.
