If you are shipping a vehicle for the first time, apparently a vague process of middle-people is the norm for the "industry." AmeriFreight is not the company shipping your vehicle, they assign it to another company. That other company assigns a person with a truck, and the person with the truck is paid cash on delivery. That said, the process of setting up the shipping information was easy, and the pickup & delivery were without incident. Be aware, the price quoted can vary when the actual truck is assigned. In my case, the difference was nearly $400 more than what I was originally quoted. This also appears to be normal for the process.
