Terrible customer service

First off this company lures you in with a low quote. Once they actually found me a driver not only was it past the date I needed it by but $700 more then original quote. When I told them no that date isn’t good enough because I won’t be in town anymore they told me they would call the driver back to see if he can pick it up early. I never got a call back! Once I found a company that would find me a driver in time I emailed my POC at amerifrieght to unlist my car. They replied back instantly “ will do”. Unprofessional. To top it off these people are such a pain to get ahold of. You’ll be on hold for probably and hour only for whoever answered the phone to transfer you to the person you were working except they’re not there! Then you gotta get back on that hour hold rotation again !! I’m not impressed whatsoever. Will never try this company again.

We are sorry that AmeriFreight did not live up to this customer's expectations. Proper communication is one of our top priorities, and we apologize that they did not receive that. This customer opted for our Economy Rate, which we do not recommend to customers with time constraints, as it may take a bit longer to find a carrier offering the lowest possible rate. We provide every customer with all available carrier offers, as soon as we receive them, and it is always the customer's decision to either accept the offer or wait for a better rate. We appreciate the feedback, as we are always working to improve our performance.
