I wish my agent had explained that I could negotiate the price with the carrier. I was originally quoted for $950 and paid $1400. However, beyond this, everything went very smoothly. My driver was very nice, did a very thorough inspection of the car, and was obviously very experienced. He was able to pick the car up early in my window, so it arrived at my destination before I'd even started driving myself and he was able to leave it with a friend until I could pick it up later that week.
