This was my first experience in shipping a car. AmeriFreight was the broker who found the actual truck driver to transport our vehicle. I gave them a three star rating as average because the quote provided to me was different than the actual cost (It was over $500 more than anticipated). I understand part of the cost goes to the trucker and part goes to the broker, and that the final cost is dependent on the trucker's cost. I didn't realize over $300 went to the Broker. I decided to go with AmeriFreight because I did appreciate their coordination in finding a trucker quickly and is responsive. Compared to other brokers, who weren't as responsive. It was to me just very expensive.
