I switched to AmeriFreight and Harry Davis after being very frustrated by the customer service at another shipping company. Best decision! At the other company, I could never get a hold of my contact. Harry always picked up or called back quickly. At the other company, I was two days into my first available date with no word on a carrier, my one-way flight just four days away. Harry booked me a carrier in less than 24 hours after we first spoke. At the other company, employees were curt and treated me like I was stupid for not having a deep understanding of the car shipping industry. Harry treated me with respect and explained things thoroughly. In the end, I had to pay $300 more with AmeriFreight, but no carriers were accepting the low offer from the other company, and no one
was communicating with me that we likely needed to sweeten the deal a bit. In summary, Harry made what had been a very stressful process *much* easier. My car arrived dirty (as expected) but unharmed in Virginia from Utah. The drivers were professional. My one frustration was their lack of communication throughout the journey, which it seems like some carriers do. They also delivered one day later than I was expecting. So 5 stars for AmeriFreight, 4 for the carrier.
