I chose AmeriFreight because it had the best reviews of all the brokers I researched. I contacted them with about a month to get my car across the country because I wasn't sure how long it would take to find a carrier. Jorge found one within a day, and my car was delivered in a week, which was great! The only thing was that I didn't opt to let him automatically put my car on a carrier if the price was within $300 of the quoted price. Once he had informed me about the carrier that was available, I needed to confirm with the two people that would be seeing my car off and receiving it that the pick up date and delivery date would be okay. I told him I would call him as soon as I had confirmed with those two individuals that we could use this carrier. It took me a couple of hours to hear back from them, and within that time, Jorge repeatedly called me. It was really distracting as I was sitting at the library in my university trying to study for my final exam I had the next day, and I was frustrated because I told him I would call him back as soon as I could confirm the order. I understand it is competitive to get a spot on a car carrier, but given that I had allocated so much time to find a carrier and that I had told him I would call him when I could confirm the order, I didn't see the need for him to disrupt my studying to ask if I had heard back yet.
