Amerifreight was great. I booked with another company, that ultimately did not pick up my car and I was in a difficult situation trying to ship my car last minute. I called Amerifreight, and they were able to take care of me within days, not weeks! Customer service was great. The driver was late because the city was under a mandatory evacuation due to weather. The driver was really friendly, except when this emergency situation arose when he became less flexible and difficult to work with. However, he remained very easy to get in touch with (always answered my calls). My only suggestion would be that some protocol exist for situations when weather, beyond either party's control, makes delivery at the agreed upon time and location impossible. If the company could step in and help when the driver and customer have difficulty negotiating an alternative solution that would be great. I thought the Amerifreight customer service was great, and a shocking contrast to the bad service I received from my original shipping choice (while the other company took over a week to return my calls, this company called me back within a day, sometimes twice if I missed their call. While the other company stopped responding until I canceled my order, this company regularly gave me updates as to the status of my order when they were trying to book a driver). I would not risk using any other company in the future.
