Transport was excellent, customer service needs some work

I was incredibly happy with my service provider, Marty. Pick-up was prompt, he was communicative, and delivery was serveral days early. He even put my rig on a smaller trailer to deliver right to my door. A+ carrier.

I was mostly pleased with AmeriFreight's customer service, but payment was a bit of a hassle. First, they charge a 10% fee for using American Express. Secondly, they asked me to send an email stating that I would not report the service charge as "unauthorized" to AMEX after service is provided. Sure, I understand that dishonest people exist and some have probably taken advantage of AmeriFreight, and I would have been OK with agreeing to these terms, but the execution on AF's end was sloppy. I received numerous emails and calls from two different people asking for various versions of an agreement. As I was moving, this was annoying and inconvenient. Finally, I think such an agreement is reasonable, but the delivery was borderline accusatory and I didn't appreciate that.

All-in-all, the service was affordable and quality and I would use them again.
