Shipped a 1970 Chevy C-10 truck from El Paso to Austin. Had a driver pick up my shipping order within 3 days of placing it with Amerifreight. The driver only gave me an hour of notice before pickup and asked for an additional $100. I declined and my contact at Amerifreight negotiated for the original offer, which the driver promptly accepted. The driver then failed to contact me during transit as promised in order to schedule pickup. The driver also failed to deliver the truck to my house as promised. I had to track them down later in the evening by calling their dispatcher and getting someone to take me where they had decided to call it a night, which was only 1 mile from my house! This shouldn't reflect badly on Amerifright, however. I won't use the transportation company again (Fast Lane Transportation LLC) but I was very happy with Amerifreight's part in the transaction.
