I initially found Amerifreight after a thorough Google search for transport of our two medium sized cars across country . After an initial inquiry, I was contacted by Ali Miller (of Amerifreight), who was both helpful and extremely consistent in following up in terms of paperwork and making sure that things were moving on schedule once our two cars were picked up. I had to make a change in our initial pickup point (which was originally California but then changed to Arizona), and that change was made quickly and without any issue.
Amerifreight arranged pickup and transport through a company called Desert Auto Group. Overall, the pickup, transport, and delivery was quick and on time. I did need to get a hold of the Desert Auto Group at one point to change pickup timing, and when I called, I left a message but no one called me back. I called the next day, and the change was made without any issue.
The driver for Desert Auto Group was excellent and very professional. I was amazed watching him back both of our cars off of the carrier...it was like watching a professional stunt car driver! Not a single scratch on either of our cars (that we could tell), considering how far our cars had been transported (open carrier) across country (from Arizona to Florida)! The only issue was how dirty our cars had become during the drive (but that is at no fault of either company); a thorough car wash remedied all the caked on dust/sand without a problem.
After pickup, Ali called us again to make sure that both cars had been delivered in a satisfactory manner, and they had been.
Although we have not transported our cars before, considering the very competitive pricing and the customer service, I would highly recommend Amerifreight to help with auto transport needs!
