Overall good experience with Amerifrieght, but quality of vendors varies

I shipped my car from Chicago to San Fran for ~$1040 which was a fair price after shopping around. I dealt with Graham Turner who was very responsive, easy to talk to and was open to all communication. Overall the experience with the Amerifrieght side of things was painless.

However, the transporter that I was partnered with (Buya Transport) was difficult to contact and their pickup and drop off windows were very imprecise. Originally my car was supposed to get picked up on Friday. I received a call on Thursday afternoon saying that they could get it later that night. I waited around all night for them, but only at 11pm did I find out from the driver that he would not be able to grab it. I had wasted the entire night waiting for a pickup that never happened. There were no calls from the driver stating that he wouldnt make it that night, I had to call him directly each time The appointment was pushed back to Friday. On Friday, the same situation happened; my car was supposed to be picked up at 6pm according to the driver. This was pushed back to 9pm-10pm, and the driver never showed. No call, nothing. I call him the next morning and arrange to get the car picked up Saturday at 11am. Luckily this time we were able to hook up and everything was fine. On the dropoff end everything went smoothly.

Overall Amerifreight was a solid choice but the quality and professionalism of the vendors they work with is suspect.
