first time user of car shipping business, was surprised by the numbers of brokers in the business. I only used amerifreight due to the very positive reviews on this site. The quote i received ended up being $200 lower than what i actually paid. But i was in a rush, and didn't have time to check other brokers. The actual shipping company did a great job, very responsive, on time and polite. I can't say the same regarding amerifreight, i feel like i had to keep calling them just to get any update regarding my car dates and feel like they just put in some quote in a computer system and didn't really care about giving me any updates. if it wasn't for the actually company that got hired by amerifreight, i'd avoid them. but my car ended up arriving on time and in great condition, just some dust on it, with no damages.
