We've used Amerifreight as the broker in the past and found their services excellent. Same this time. However, the carrier they brokered the business to USTA, LLC out of Manchester, NH was AWFUL.
Driver insisted on picking car up early and at night. When he was ready to deliver car in Colorado, his first call to us saying car would be delivered was about 30 minutes before he showed up at house to leave off car. The write up of condition of the car at pick up did not match the condition of car at delivery. Owner of the car was not home, so I was trying to negotiate with driver that the paperwork and condition of the car should match...and it didn't. He said reason it didn't match was because car was picked up at night, was dirty and therefore not all scrapes/scratches could be seen. Driver insisted I take car as is or would put it back on truck and keep going. Had to involve law enforcement to resolve the dispute. When finally resolved, to our satisfaction, trucker purposely drove off with the keys to car. Sherriff had to go after him and retreive key. Amerifreight rep says they won't use this carrier again. For the sake of future customers, hope so!!
