We used AmeriFreight to ship our car to CA last summer, and then to return it to CO this fall. We had a great experience the first time - hence had no hesitation to use them again this time. The price is very reasonable and customer service is pretty good. We used the least expensive option where you are given a window of time for the car to be picked up, and both times the car was picked up on the first available day.
For this most recent shipment, the car did arrive with a large number of scratches on the roof. We did get it noted on the arrival receipt that the driver and I signed. But I am still working with the actual transporter (OIG Transport) and AmeriFreight to get this resolved. I was told to go to a garage and get an estimate for the fix, and work with them - but it is obviously an annoyance to have to deal with it, and folks are slow to return my calls. So the damage is still outstanding and I don't have resolution, but the car just arrived last Saturday (a week ago) and I am hopeful that both companies stand by their service so I can get the car repaired quickly.
I will try to update the review once I know the resolution.
