I needed to transport 2 vehicles for my job relocation from Chicago to Tucson. Having read horror stories about the unregulated transport business and being leery about the process, I was very happy that I used AmeriFreight for my transport. I had systematically screened 20+ brokers and AmeriFreight was on the top of my list based on BBB accreditation and A+ rating, being in the business for 9 yrs, and ranked in the top 10 for TransportReview for 30-day, 1-yr, and 2-yr ranking. The quotes I obtained had a huge range ($787-$1987 per vehicle) and some included fuel surcharge and oversize fees. Jorge was able to provide me with a good quote with no additional fees ($945 per car), which was not the cheapest (possible scam) and not the most expensive (waste of money). Jorge was upfront and clear about their fees and the trucker's cost. Once he was able to identify a trucker that matched my specific dates of pick up and delivery, I conveniently paid for AmeriFreight fees via credit card. The transporter didn't take credit cards, but required cashier's check upon delivery...which is typical. Once the vehicles were delivered (no scratches, no problems), Jorge followed up with a phone call to make sure all went well. For my relocation moving process, figuring out the car transport was potentially the most nerve-racking part, and AmeriFreight was able to easy the worry and get my cars transported at a good value.
