I recently had my 1967 Mustang transported from Copperas Cove TX to Orange County CA. I put in my in request for quotes and was contacted by many companies.I started checking reviews for alot of the companies that contacted me and also checking the Better Business Bureau and found that alot of the companies that contacted me had bad reviews and alot of complaints with the BBB. That's when I started looking for a better solution and stumbled across Amerifreight.Their record was far better than any other company I could find I took a chance on them feeling as confident as could be for a first timer transporting a car. The price they gave me originally was 725.00 and when they found a driver they asked me for 50.00 more which was ok because they explained to me before I comiitted with them that sometimes the driver will not pick up your car at the low price so they will raise in 50.00 increments until a driver will agree to price.I heard horror stories of other companies basically holding your car hostage until you pay whatever extra they demand.Nothing like that with this company. Everything explained up front and they actually answer their phones when you call them.Check out their reviews and their BBB record. The only problem I had was that the driver was hard to understand because his accent and he unloaded my car along side the freeway offramp which was not very convenient for me . I was trying to help the driver out by meeting him in a easier spot for him as opposed to coming directly to my house because of tight streets. Next time I will request directly to my front door If I transport a car again I will use Amerifreiht because overall it went ok except for the drop off.
