My experience with Amerifreight was good. They are a broker service that finds a carrier service to ship your car. The cost ended up being much higher than what I was originally quoted, but apparently that's just how this industry works. It all depends on what price the carrier you end up booking wants, though you can choose whether to accept that bid or keep waiting for a better carrier bid. Amerifreight found a carrier service that was excellent and my car arrived safely and on time. I will say, I'm a bit confused about the point of a broker service because if I had known better, I could have booked directly through the carrier and cut the middle man, but I didn't know what I was doing at the time. My broker was good, but I think communication from him could have been slightly better. It's stressful when you're shipping your car and sometimes I had a hard time getting my broker on the phone or getting timely email responses. Overall, a good experience though. When I was shopping around, it seemed like there were many sketchy companies in this business, but you can feel safe with Amerifreight.
