I was contacted promptly with a quote of 850$ or so. I confirmed & signed up for the 95$ AFTa plan. Initially, I had wanted a delivery date of 2 July. I waited a week & did not hear anything. I called Graham who ensured me that my order had been processed & they were looking for a carrier. Another week goes by without hearing anything so I called again. This time, Graham found a carrier.

He said he could get a carrier to deliver my car from Delaware to Texas. 2 options:
1) pay 1,500 to have the car shipped all the way
2) pay 1,300 to have the car shipped an hour away from my home (no)

I said no on all.
He then said that he would only make 5$ off the order & wanted to take my AfTa plan off so he could make an additional 95$.

No. He eventually said he would ship the car all the way to me for 1,200 with my AFTa plan intact. That was fine.

The process was fast & I was contacted by the carrier within minutes.

I understand that Amerifreight is a business, but there is no need to tell me what money you won't be making on your order. That is unprofessional. Other than that, the experience was good & I will use it again if I ever need my car transported again.
