As a first time shipper I read many reviews on line before selecting Amerifreight. My primary contact person was Bob Turner. He was patient and professional in walking me through the process and letting me know what to expect. As a newbie shipper i was clueless and he could not have been clearer about the process. When my initial order did not attract a carrier he guided me through the process and was spot on in his advice on how to improve my offer. Not only was he generous with his time but given the nature of our situation was extremely generous with his support in finding a carrier to get the car to my soldier son quickly.
Once the carrier was found the pickup occurred as stated. Except for rush hour traffic and a snow storm (stuff happens!) everything was right on time. We had some communication concerns given my sons job responsibilities and the carrier was able to co-ordinate delivery as requested.
Could I have found another broker and saved a few dollars? If I had unlimited time - perhaps. Could the shippment have gone any better if I did? Absolutely not. When I must ship another vehicle will I look to use another broker to try to save a few dollars? Absolutely not?
