I was very concerned about doing a transaction of this nature for the first time and was pleasantly surprised about the wonderful service and people that I dealt with. I aquired a car while working temporly in CA. and thought that I was to return back to work there. Well I was not needed again so I had to have my car shipped to my home in Michigan. My car was left at a freinds home in the high desert moutains east of LA and a very hard drive into the mountains. The carrier met my freind on time and impressed him so much he had a car shipped to one of his children in college.
The driver called with news of his arrival date and options on time to meet. He was very professional and would be a great person to deal with again. There was no damage to my car nor no items missing. My car was packed with all of my personal items and tools. I may be going out of state to work again and this is the way to go. You can pack items that would not work on a plane ie. dishes, sleeping bag, fax machine, cleaning stuff etc. The price was very reasonable compared to driving myself with wear and tear plus fuel cost. I believe it to be less expensive to ship a car than driving one with time missed from work plus all the fuel, wear& tear and the risk of having a break down or accedent.
