I'd give 6 Stars for Alpine if I could.

My wife's 2002 Town & Country minivan blew a transmission when she was visiting Minneapolis. Rather than incur a $3K service bill, we decided to use the Cash for Clunkers rebate to buy a new car. Since continued Congressional funding of the CARs program was in question, our dealer gave us 48 hours to get the car from Minnesota to our Chicago Dealer. I spoke to Mike at Alpine and he committed that he would do everything he could to help us out. And boy, did he come through! Within 3 hours of my first contact with Alpine, I got a call from the Minneapolis dealer holding the car that a carrier was there to pick it up....WOW! 24 Hours later, the car was being offloaded at my Chicago dealer...which was a day earlier than needed. Mark, the carrier driver, couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. He called me multiple times to update me as to when he was going to arrive at the dealer.

I had used the 123Movers.com site to find transport services. Nine different brokers contacted me with prices ranging from $449.00 to $649.00. I then stumbled upon Alpine through reviews on this site. Alpines price for the move: $350.00! This is one of the best customer service experiences I have had. I was totally anxious about the transaction and transport since I had never done this before. Mike said "don't worry; we'll take care of you". He was telling the truth.
