This is my first time having a car shipped. I did a qoute online and came up with many. Allegence auto had a nice ballpark price which i was wanting to spend. In an email with they wrote" With the information that I was given if you call me or place your order BY 7/24 (or BEFORE ) this will secure this rate and a spot on the trailer between 7/27 and 7/230 and the estimate arrival date will be within 4 to 7 days after the pickup date." This is verbatim after reading this I set up all the requirments with Jim G. He even called me on Sunday(7/23) to plan everything out. Jim G customer service skills are Excellent. After having everything set up and paperwork being scanned/fax/email ect. My credit card payment was accepted and the ball was rolling. The first day for pick was 7/27. I let a couple of days pass by and I hear nothing. I decided to first email the customer service dept i sent two emails to two differnet people i never got a reply. Then i decided to call the customer service dept. Allegence auto told me that they where still working on getting a disptach truck to pick up my car. 7/31 I call Allegence auto back and now I was out of the window that they said that would secure a spot on the trailer. I call and got the same explanation waiting on a truck to get dispatched. My gripe is this!!! Allegence promise me by saying that if I GIVE THEM MY MONEY FIRST OF $195. They will honor there word and have a secure spot on the 7/27-7/30 trailer. Well as I'm writing this I still dont have a clue when my car we be getting picked up nor does the person holding my car for me know. This event on Allegence auto dropping the trust on picking up the car on the dates THEY GAVE ME is very frustrating. I recieved a phone call today from another trucking company which had a D- with the better business breau sayin that he could have my car picked up today. I did my research and found out the ALLEGENCE had a A- with the better business breau. Go Figure!!!!!!!!

This customer placed her order on 07/26 and requested a first available ship date of 07/27. We scheduled a driver to pick up the customer`s vehicle on 07.29. That same afternoon the driver informed us that due to a mechanical problem with his truck he will need to reschedule the pick up date for 07.31. We tried on several occasions to call the customer and the pick up contact to inform them of the new pick up date. We left several messages for the customer and did not receive a call back in time. The driver could no longer wait in the area without being able to contact the customer, so he left and we were forced to start over in order to assign a new driver. We did not charge the customer a rescheduling fee, understanding that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances. We are currently working on assigning a new driver that will be leaving the New York area this week. In addition, we use an application that is time stamped and therefore any change made in the system is recorded and cannot be manipulated, which is how we know the exact dates and times we have been in touch with the customer.
