I used allegiance auto transport for my transport of a 2 door sedan vehicle from Iowa City, IA to Southern California in March of 2009. The customer service was excellent from the beginning, answered all my questions, allowed a limited number of storage in the trunk, and most importantly picked up my car on time. This was very important as we needed to leave within 3-4 days and would not be comming back for further supervision of the vehicle move. The truck driver gave me his personal cell, and I called him everyday to find out where exactly he was and if there were any weather hold ups. There were weather hold ups, to be expected during that time of year, but he told me where he was and about how long he would take to get to the next location etc.. which is all I could ask for. There are no mysteries with this company. They are good with communication, efficient, and best of all the best price in town. I payed $645 dollars from Iowa to southern california and they got it there in 6 days, that's excellent in my book.
I have since used them a second time for my wife's car and have again been satisfied with their service thus far.
In my mind the most important obstacles include, someone keeping clear communication, no extra hidden fees, and picking up and dropping off the car in a timely manner. Allegiance hits all of these points with a bang. I give them an A rating in my book.
