Absolutely DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER!!!!! The worst experience I have ever had with a move. I dropped my show quality 2002 Suzuki Hayabusa off at Honolulu Freight on the 18th of June. From all accounts and communication I had with Joanna my bike should have been delivered to my residence in TN by no later then July 1st. The ship carrying my bike docked on June 26th in San Diego. I get a call on the 29th of June telling me that they can't find my bike and the driver can't wait until they locate it so he leaves without it. Now I'm told that because of the upcoming holiday that there are no drivers available until after the 4th. This I accept as part of life. When they finally find another driver I'm told that my bike should be delivered on either the 11th or 12th of July, I'm not happy but again I understand delays. Less than 20 miles into the trip the driver calls to tell me he has lost the custom seat on my motorcycle. When I call ACT I'm told it's not their problem, it's the drivers responsibility. Of course the driver denies any responsibility. After 6 days of argueing over who will replace the seat on my bike the driver and I finally come to an arrangement and he agrees to deliver my bike the following day all the while acting as if he will refuse to deliver my bike if I don't agree to pay what he wants. Then when he does show up with my bike not only is the seat missing, the windshield is also missing, the battery is dead and the bike is filthy. Then the driver has the audacity to claim he still has no responsibility for the damage to my bike. $1700.00 to transport a show quality bike from HI to TN and when it arrives it looks like a basket case. Nice Job ACT. NOT!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS CARRIER AT ALL COST. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCARING. Do not use their carrier SLK International either. Young punk kid with an attitude!!!

Dear John, We are very sorry you feel this way! We always take responsibility for our mistakes and we make sure that the drivers do as well. Once the unit is in their possession it is the company itself that has the insurance and needs to make sure everything is well taken care of in case of any damage. In your case, the driver picked the unit up after it has arrived in a certain condition already from Hawaii!! The bike had the windshield taken off from Honolulu. The battery was disconnected as well( standard procedure), and the bike was in transit for over 10 days, so yes, it can be dirty. We had a driver there in time to have it picked up and the receiving party at the marina could not find the bike that has been sitting in their terminal for 2 days already. So, the driver left as he was waiting around for over 2 hours and he had other customers that needed to have their units picked up as well. The seat was loose and when our second driver picked it up it flew off 20 miles into the trip. He tried to find it but he had no luck. He also reimbursed you for the seat as the bike was in his possession when the seat flew off. Again, sorry you feel that way!! We do care a lot about our customers.
