Hello Denise and To whom it may concern at All Coast Auto Transport,
After serious consideration I have decided to Cancel my current auto transport order 52915-WS with All Coast Auto Transport and must insist on a Full Refund Immediately of my $200 for the following reasons:
1) Your representative Michael (After he said he HAD lined up a driver to pick up my vehicle sometime on December 29th, 2011) "promised" me over the phone that if I register online with your company within the "Next Hour" he will guarantee that the driver will contact me within 24 hours prior to picking up the vehicle on December 29th! He also said he would email me the drivers contact information immediately as well... I received No contact information of the driver, the driver or company Never contacted me, and the vehicle was not picked up!
2) When I followed up/spoke with Michelle at All Coast Auto Transport she assured me that she would have a driver for me by December 29th, possibly even by December 28th if she could find someone. Again, I heard from no driver in advance of pick-up, I received No driver contact information and the vehicle was never picked up on December 29th.
3) I called this morning and spoke with Michelle in Dispatch and I asked her why I was not contacted by the driver and why the vehicle was not picked up when she said it would be by the 29th and she tells me it was because the order was changed to pick up the vehicle on Dec. 28th... but that was a change she made, Not I, as I only wanted to make certain the vehicle was picked up by the end of the day on Dec. 29th through my communications with the company.
4) When I called to calmly discuss these issues with Michelle AND Helen this morning, Dec.30th, Michelle passed me over to Helen and Helen literally HUNG-UP on me twice, after curtly dodging out of the conversation while then quickly just rudely saying, "read your contract" hanging-up (the last straw). Furthermore the contract agreement/invoice arrived AFTER all the transaction and fore-mentioned promises by Michael and Michelle were made! Your phone recordings will verify!
5) Lastly I see in that agreement fine print it states that the COD delivery price is Not Guaranteed! Now after all the previous correspondence and promises made, I do not trust that your company or driver will deliver for the set price stated in your invoice. Therefore I am CANCELLING my Order 52915-WS with your company and Insisting on a FULL REFUND of my $200 Deposit Immediately or I WILL report your company to The Better Business Bureau, Consumer Reports and display this on related internet auto transport reviews and testimonials.

Dec.29th has passed and the vehicle is sitting in limbo at my sisters', I only decided to try your company because you assured me that the vehicle would be picked up On Time as I did not want to burden her with this past Dec.29th!!! I understand it is the holiday season but regardless, I only wanted straight answers, not manipulative ones in order to make a quick sale by some of your representatives. I Do Not Trust your company to fulfill it's promises any further now in handling my vehicle and I must now find go with somebody else who will stand by there word and promises.
Please confirm the Cancellation and Refund ASAP! I await your RSVP!

Regards,
Lon Richter

BY THE WAY IT'S BEEN SINCE LAST WEEK THAT I SENT THIS LETTER, FAXED IT, EMAILED IT AND LEFT COUNTLESS VOICE MESSAGES WITH ALL COAST AUTO TRANSPORT AND NOW THEY SEND AND EMAIL STATING THEY'RE TRYING TO DISPATCH A DRIVER TO ME AND ALSO JACK THE PRICE UP AN ADDITIONAL $300 TO BOOT. WHAT NERVE THESE FRAUDS HAVE.

What this customer fails to mention in this complaint is that he received a quote from us on Dec 23rd, yet he waited 3 days until December 26th to place the order. He then indicated the first available date the vehicle would be available for pick-up would not be until Dec 29th. We made NO Guarantee of a pick up on the 29th. Our Terms and Conditions and Authorization Agreement which this customer signed PRIOR to their order being placed, clearly states we are Brokers and are unable to Guarantee a pick up and or delivery on specific date and or time. This vehicle was dispatch to a carrier on Jan 4th, well within the 7-10 day window it normally takes to obtain an accepted dispatch from a carrier/driver, especially for a transport across the country during Christmas and New Year’s when many drivers are off for the holidays. This customer had no regard for this fact and refused to accept the conditions of our agreement for which he signed and agreed to. His only concern was for his unfounded demands. Thank fully, most customers have the common sense to not wait until the 11th hour during the holidays to decide to transport their vehicle clear across the country. If you are not one of them, you may not want to use our company. Call Santa Claus!
