After one very good experience hauling a personal vehicle to Nashville from Northern Virginia, I sought out All-American to help me ship a station wagon to Denver. The person at All-American quoted a price ($1K) that was a bit more than I had budgeted for so I trolled the web with the help of my sister to seek a hauler bid in the $600 to $800 range. Found several but did not do any background checks. Before going with an alternate, lower bid - I circled back to All-American to see if $1K was their best and final price. It was and during the conversation (yes, these company folks and my contact - David Lesser - will actually take the time to talk with you other than just zapping email back and forth. I was advised to check reviews and references on some of the lower fees offered and sure enough - there were enough "scammer" comments that scared me about the safety of my content or that made me think otherwise. All in all, the interaction with All-American was professional and prompt and seamless. The driver taking my Denver bound cargo was a young man/wife team working to make a good business and his rig was clean and well-kept. Closer to pick-up date in my town, he/she were in enough cell phone contact with me not to leave me guessing. Pick up was made on a street near my home where I never thought a car-hauling rig could navigate. Final delivery to my son in Denver was one day ahead of schedule and the re-arraigned cash on the barrel head final payment was hassle free and as previously understood. All-American Transport is now in my permanment Roledex for referrals to others.
