I've used AAAT twice a year for 8 yrs now to ship my car back and forth between SF and Sarasota, FL. The process was a little raggedy in the early days, but they have continually improved and refined their service to make life easier for their customers. This last shipment was about the smoothest ever.
AAAT is now using email more proactively to stay right in top of shipment status.
This time they used Sawgrass Transport as the carrier and Dennis the driver was the friendliest and most courteous I've ever met. He even got stuck on the Bay Bridge for 2.5 hrs due to the construction failure and subsequent tie-up, enroute to the pickup and it didn't phase him a bit.
We had a very narrow delivery window due to other travel commitments on each end and Dennis brought the car the first day of that window right to the gate of our kids' ranch.
Due to some rain enroute, the car was cleaner than when I handed it over.
