Went with this co. despite the warnings. Got a total price quote from Tony for $796.52. They sent me a contract with the total price. I sent them a deposit of $200.00. That was on April 18th. My 1966 VW bus was picked up on the 20th. So far so good right....wrong. On the 27th of April I tried to contact them since I hadn't heard from anyone. No answer so I left a message. No call back. Over the course of the next 3 days, I left about 10 messages and about 10 E - mails requesting that someone call me. No response. My wife finally got through to someone who gave her the name of the co. that the had hired to move my bus. I contacted them and they said that Air, land and sea had lied and that it would cost $850.00 on delivery, not the $596.52 like the contract stated. I got in touch with Fred at Air land and sea (you have to hit ext. 16 to get someone to answer the phone) and he said that someone should have contacted me about the price increase. They didn't. He also said that the price increase was due to fuel charges and other things, which would bring the price to about $1,000.00. I told him that I would just pay the Co. that actually had my vehicle, and that I wanted my deposit back. He said that I broke the contract and wouldn't get it back. I told him that he broke the contract when he changed the price and that I would have my attorney contact him. He LAUGHED and said that it would cost more for an attorney than $200.00, but that he would see what he could do. I told him that I already have an attorney on retainer and wanted my money back in a week. Well....it's been almost a week. The bus is supposedly on it's way with another company, and still no $200.00. This company needs to be shut down.
