I was assigned a carrier within a few days by Agape Transport and given
a contact phone number of the carrier and truck driver. When I called the number,
the person I spoke to could hardly speak English and indicated he no longer worked
for the carrier. I then called Agape and told them what happened and they said they'd
get back to me. I was put in touch with another driver who told me my car was going
to be shipped to Virginia and then Los Angeles--both incorrect destinations. She then
told me that she would pick up my car and drive it to another location where it would
be loaded onto an open truck carrier. I told her this was not acceptable since my car
has a racing engine. I called Agape back, very upset. Candy, the supervisor, told
me should would investigage what had happened. She called me back several hours
later and told me that Agape had assigned a different company to move my car.
From that point on, everything went very smoothly. The driver who picked up my car
did so on time and was very polite and knowledgeable. He delivered the car on the
specified delivery date and it was in good condition. Agape did a poor job of selecting
the first carrrier which was a disaster; they did an excellent job of listening to my
complaints and then selecting a carrier who was superb. I'd give them 4 stars overall;
I would use them again. They were clearly very concerned about what happened to
me and rectified their error promptly and efficiently.
