Agape Auto Transport is an excellent company to work with. My request date for pick-up was 7/23, and they were upfront in asking me if I would be willing to have it picked up earlier because the cost might go up due to the cost of diesel fuel. Since I needed my car until then, it was not possible. However, the final cost was still as quoted ($800 from Ann Arbor, MI to Houston, TX), and my car was picked up on the day I requested. Every time I called with questions, I was able to speak with a representative immediately. I was not put on hold for a very long time.
I needed two cars to be shipped to two different states, and Agape took care of arranging transport for both of them. Although I was apprehensive about transporting my cars, I was very happy with the transporters that worked with Agape.
The only frustrations I had with the whole experience was with the car carrier and the fact that having a determined schedule is so difficult. The driver told me he would pick up the car between 9am-12pm. I asked my friend to hand-off the car, and I gave her this time window. When I didn't hear that my car was picked up, I called the driver at 12pm and found out that he had run out of gas. It would have been nice if he could have called me beforehand and let me know. The car was delivered to my sister, but it was very late at night, close to midnight. Having my sister go out alone to take delivery so late at night was not the ideal situation.
Nevertheless, given all the rumors of the perils of transporting a car, I was put at ease with Agape's service and the quality of the people they work with. Although the car was very dusty, that was expected, but there was no damage to the car. I highly recommend Agape to transport your car.
