Quoted 900.00 and proised that when delivered and oaid in full, they would send 250 in gas cards.

Contacted them on 11/25 and discussed specific pikcup of date of Dec 1 or Dec2 for dleivery in CA no earlier than Dec 6th as I was moving from MD to CA to start a new job and would not be in CA before then. Andy told me that there would not be any issue doing either. I booked the transport with a deposit of 200.00. I paid for door-to-door service.

On Weds 11/26, Andy called me and told me he had a truck in the area and wanted to pck-up my car on Thur Nov 27th which was Thanksgiving. I reminded him that car could not be delivered until 12-6. He again told me there would be no issue. I told him I could book with another carrier however he said this would be necessary.

Even though it was inconvenient to do so, I let them pick up the car on Thansgiving which meant I had to hire a ride to the airport as I was travelig for the holiday and whne I returned home, I would need to rent a car for two days as I was without one. I told the drier that I could not take possesion of my vehicle until th6th and he said he would call me when he got there but could dleier on the 6th as requested.

On Fri Nov 28th, Andy called me to tell me "you have a problem. Driver will be in CA on Weds and you will need to make arrangements to recive your car. When I reminded Andy of our two previous discussions, he went off on me accusing me of screwing him. He then proceeded to tell me I had a signed agreement and I either needed to make arrangements or he would dump my car in a terminal!! When I suggested I wanted to talk to his owners, he blew up even more and told me that I was not allowed to talk to them and wen I pressed even further he told me they were in Fla and "would not take your call". He then accused me of thretening him when I told him that I was going to contact te necessary regulatory agencies and then he hung up on me. I called the 888 number both times and he hng up on me two more times.

I wish I had checked out this site prior to booking with Advance Logistics but I have learend my lesson. I fully expecr their replu to be similar to the others that they bothered to respond to by saying "read te contact" or suggest that I am either lying or insane, however the aboive represent the facts and 82% of those who posted have had a similar experience with Advance.

I have filed a complaint with the DOT alreday and told Andy that I expect satisfactory resolution otherwise I would contact the Better Business Bureau and the NY State Department of Consumer Affairs. I think between my experience with Advnace Logistics and those posted here that there is a pattern.

There are reputable transport companies out there and I have to believe that Advance Logistics is rogue operation that does t care about its reputation. They use bait and switch and strong arm tactics as in my case where once they had my car they decided to hold it hostage to get more money from me.

I am not done with this matter. These guys need to be stopped from harming other consumers.

this customer never mentioned anything to us regarding that he was arriving on 12/6, the driver told the customer when he picked up the car that he would be at the destination prior to 12/6, he said ok. When the driver wanted to deliver the car on 12/2-3 the customer made a commotion that it had to be delivered on 12/6, we asked him to make an arrangement with the trucker to drop the car at his residence and lock it up, he acknowledged that we cannot and it must be delivered on 12/6. We told him that the driver cannot sit and wait for him until 12/6, he became irate and refused to work anything out, as a result the car went to a terminal.
