To start this review I spoke with a gentleman named Barry Pollack. Our 20 minute conversation mainly consisted of him assuring me my debit card would not be charged. He then went on to tell me that he ould email me a contract, I was to review the contract sign agree and fax back to him, then and only then would my card be charged the $200. I again asked him, "are you sure my card will not be charged?" Barry Pollack assured me it would not. I told Barry to send me the contract and I will look it over when I had time. That was on 4 Feb, on 5 Feb I get up, I check my account and low and behold, there's the $200 taken right out. I immediately call Barry Pollack the salesman that originally contacted me, he apologizes several times and says that should not have happened, he says that he sent an email along with my information to the company and some other guy named Andy saying to not charge the card. I take it Andy never received that email. Barry then gives me Andy's number and says he is the manager. I call Andy, I tried explaining the situation to him, the first words out of his mouth told me this company has done this before, Andy says to me. when I tried explaining, he says to me, "look, no one wants your $200". I couldnt believe my ears, how professional is that? That was said to me by Andy, a manager not even 2 minutes into the conversation. Basically after I explained to Andy what his salesman Barry Pollack had said and done, he went on to trash talk his salesman. After I attempted again to explain what happened, maybe it was an error that caused the money transaction, he was not hearing it, he argued with me and made rude comments, then he hung up. I never even got to fully explain the situation to him. I then called Barry Pollack back and explained to him whoever Andy was, said he, Barry did not know what he was doing, basically the salesman and the so-called manager trash talked each other when I tried to explain the issue. Neither gentleman offered any kind of solution, just passed the buck and blamed each other. When I called Barry Pollack back the second time, he told me web address for this business and said there are 1-800 numbers there to call. I went to the web site and called the numbers. When I called the numbers, the first lady I spoke to was totally rude, she did not even attempt to listen to the problem, after a few attempts of trying to get her to listen, she hung up on me. I called the 1-800 number back and received a second lady,a different one from the first, again this lady would not listen to me, she also made excuses for the previous employees and was very rude. She eventually hung up on me, which is ok because there was no getting a word in edge wise. Never before have I called a business and actually had the employees argue with me, never! Lesson learned, before you give up any card number or even agree to just look at a contract, go to the Better Business Bureau and do the research on the business. Sure enough after this incident, this company Advance Logistics, is listed at the Better Business Bureau as an UNSATISFACTORY BUSINESS, If I would have only done my research. I contacted my bank, which was able to credit my money, and I have filed a fraudulent charge against the business. If you deal with this company ensure you DO NOT give them a credit card number!!! Good Luck!
