Excellent overall service. I purchased a car from a private party in Cape May, NJ. I live in Las Vegas, NV. I was very cautious about doing my research to ship the car becasue it was brand new with 1700 miles on it and I wanted it in the pristine condition it was already in. Also, after not being able to find anyone that could do enclosed transport for three months I crossed my fingers and went with open transport.

I placed the order with Able for ASAP pickup on July 23, 2004. But I had not received a pickup date by August 6, 2004. I called Able and the explanation was that Cape May was very remote and not many haulers would travel that far to pick up a car.

Becuase of the delay, Able volunteered to pay the terminal fees if I could get it to their terminal in Atco, NJ (about 70 miles north of Cape May). I agreed. I had the car picked up on August 9, 2004 and delivered to the terminal on August 10, 2004. Before I got the car to the terminal I had an e-mail from the hauler stating that the car was booked for departure on August 13, 2004. Due to an unforseen delay in getting a load of cars off his truck so he could re-load to go back to the west coast, the car wasn't picked up until August, 16, 2004. But that was OK with me because the car hauler (Raymond) called on the day it was to be picked up and informed me of that. He also said he was heading out of NJ with a full load so I would see the car on August 20 or 21st in Las Vegas.

Raymond called me again on August 20, 2004 to let me know he would hit Las Vegas by midnight and to arrange drop off for the next morning. True to form, Raymond was at the prearranged location at 8:00 a.m. with my car already unloaded and waiting.

The car was in the same condition it left the terminal in. There were barely even any bugs on the windshield.

Though I attribute the long period of time in getting the car picked up to the remote locale, I am a very satisfied customer. Able really went out of their way to try to get the car picked up and shipped to me and never did anything other than tell me the truth about the situation.

I woiuld use them again without hesitation.
