Would Not Pay for Damages

Initially, my experience with Abdul's was fine. My vehicle was put on his truck by a broker, Rite Way Auto Transport to be shipped from GA to CA. The driver, Emmett, was very nice at first and I felt comfortable trusting my car to him.

Well, once the car got to California, it had been damaged in 3 places on the back of the car where it rubbed against the stack on the truck. Even that only bothered me a little because Emmett was very forthcoming and honest about the damage and said that Abdul would call me the next day to take care of it...

I waited A WEEK and he NEVER CALLED, so I eventually called him and told him that I was going to get a quote to repair the damage from a reputable repair shop instead of having "a guy that he knew" come fix it because the damage was minimal, but I have high standards (as is my right since I am the car owner). The first quote that I received was very high, so, out of courtesy to Abdul, I went to another shop and got a much more reasonable estimate.

After he dicked around with me for a MONTH!!!! and after many unreturned phone calls and useless service, he suggested that I help pay for some of the repair since it was coming out of his pocket!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!?!?!!, YOU DAMAGE MY CAR AND EXPECT ME TO HELP PAY FOR IT.....at this point, I completely lost it (after being very calm and rational with him) and told him that if he did not pay the full amount to get my car fixed in the next week that I would call my lawyer and SUEh im for the damages. Well, apparently this got his attention, becuase I promptly got a call from the body shop stating that he had paid for the repairs and I could bring my car in to get fixed.

However, as if that wasn't bad enough...ABDUL IS SUCH A COWARD that he was afraid to return any of my calls and used the body shop as a middle man and told them that he did not want to speak to me again.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! I understand tha accidents happen, that is not what makes me angry, it was the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and horrible way that Abdul runs his business...he should be shut down.

NEVER EVER USE HIM!!!! MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TRANSPORT BROKER KNOWS NOT TO PUT YOUR CAR ON HIS TRUCKS.....YOU WILL REGRET IT.
