Order was placed on the 13th of April. Lashawn stated that we would be able to expect a call within the next few days but that the pick up would happen in the next 30 days. The driver contacted us and stated that he would be at the pick up location on Friday 14 April and that he would be delivering the vehicle on 15 April. We made the 4.5 hour drive to the location where the vehicle was being housed and contacted the driver again. At this time he stated that he would not be able to pick up the vehicle until later on the same evening. Saturday morning came and we contacted the Pontoon Beach Police department only to learn that the vehicle still had not been picked up. I called on Saturday during business hours, however I never was able to contact anyone but the answering machine. I then attempted to contact the driver all day Saturday and Sunday. I attempted to contact ASAP via phone and email yesterday to no avail. Lashawn finally called my husband back and stated that the truck would be picked up either Monday evening or Tuesday morning. The manager of Chicago Auto Transport still has yet to get back to myself or my husband about our order. As I already know that Lashawn will have a wonderful write up for why I am the most irate customer, the fact remains that this is a company of hustlers who do not take ownership of their failures. If I should ever need an auto transportation company again I will ensure that I read the other customers comments before I jump on the first cheap quote. I will definantly ensure that I alert fellow military family to go with a reputable company. PLEASE SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY....FIND A REPUTABLE COMPANY.
