We should have seen a problem coming with Stan when we placed his order. We thought we were doing him a favor when we placed his order being he was with another company for more than 14 days prior to contacting us. After about 2 days Stan began to call us twice a day wanting to know status. We informed Stan that as soon as the status changed he would get a call. After about 5 days we received a call from Central (Load Listing Site) that this car was listed with over 4 companies. WOW, apparently Stan had contracted with 4 companies to move the same car. Central stated to us that the drivers have been instructed when they see this kind of activity, not to respond to any of the listings. I then called Stan to let him know that we had discovered his dead end plan. He first seemed to be confused, when I began to name the other companies he immediately went on the defense saying he wanted to cancel. As stated in our contract, you can cancel at anytime but if you cancel prior to 30 days you will incur a $50.00 early cancellation fee. Stan was not very happy about this fee. This type of situation occurs quite offen when customers are not educated in this industry. First of all if you contract with 5 different companies and you offer all of them different prices which one is the driver going to call first? You are right! The highest price. So you are really working against yourself. Furthermore it is just a big waste of
