This was my first time shipping a car across the country. I was shipping a car from Florida to Boston for my college kids. Spoke with Randy several times at Aaall States about when best to put my car on the board since my times were flexible. Randy was very forthcoming and informative about the process. You learn right up front that he is simply the broker and arranges the contact with the driver and truck. He was all business, polite and professional....There is a single board where the jobs are placed and drivers can either take them or leave them. Right on schedule, Randy's office contacted me and informed me that my job was accepted and how to reach the driver. Driver followed up and arranged the pickup of the car for two days later.....Process was very smooth and the driver courteous and helpful..... He showed up at a mutual meeting place in Florida and took the car...(he couldnt get his truck into my neighborhood because of the cul de sac so we met at the local airport). I was shipping the car to my kids in Boston, and he contacted them without problem. His cell phone number was given to us, and he answered his phone whenever we called to check. Delivery was delayed a day because of the Memorial Day holiday, but the driver was very flexible with the time and location. My kids were a little unsure about the transfer, but the driver was reassuring.... He was about an hour late to the drop off, but kept the kids updated with his progress. The car was clean and undamaged, and the kids were happy to have their car. The overall experience could only be considered professional. Everything went smoothly and expectedly. The broker and driver were professional and met their obligations. Would I use Randy and Aaall States again? Undoubtedly! However, I understand fully that Aaall States can only broker the deal, and the real issue is how reliable and professional is the driver. I clearly was fortunate with the company that took my bid, and I appreciate their efforts. l
